Ji In Kim, DDS - General Dentist

Dr. Ji In Kim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Southern California. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr. Kim was a recipient of the Army Health Professional Scholarship, and after completing dental school, he went to serve his country as a Captain in the US Army. While serving in the Army, Dr. Kim expanded his dental knowledge and clinical skills through continuing education and professional mentorship. Dr. Kim continues to serve as a dental officer in the Army reserves.

Sharon Mia Kim, DDS, MS - Orthodontist

Dr. Sharon Kim received her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a focus in Neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, graduating at the top of her class and becoming a member of the exclusive Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Kim completed her education at the USC Orthodontics Program, where she received her orthodontics training and a master’s degree in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Kim then went on to found Kimodontics Orthodontics in Las Vegas. She is excited to offer her orthodontic expertise to the patients of Dynamic Dental.

Laura Cabrera, DMD

Dr. Laura Cabrera emigrated from Cuba to Miami, Florida at the age of 17 where she finished her high school education. Dr Cabrera received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida International University. Then she went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. After graduating from Dental school, Dr. Cabrera completed a General Practice residency further training in advance dental procedures such as implant placement, hospital dentistry, and conscious sedation among many others.

When not in the office, Dr. Cabrera enjoys outdoor activities, dancing, cooking and spending time with her puppy. She is also fluent in Spanish!

Dr. Cabrera is eager to meet you and continue to provide great care and service for you!

Mary

One of our hygienists comes all the way from Florida, where she graduated from Dental Hygiene school. After graduation, Mary started as a dental assistant in the Navy for 5 years, adding into her 14 years in the dental profession. Outside of the office, Mary enjoys hiking and staying active with her family and her dog!

Janine

Janine has been with Dynamic since 2010 as one of our Hygienists. She graduated from Loyola University of Chicago School of Dentistry, and worked in the windy city until 1999, when she moved to Las Vegas. She loves keeping her patients healthy and creating a comfortable and warming environment, and if she isn’t discussing your oral hygiene, Janine has so many amazing stories about Disney and so many other adventures she’s done thus far! !

Lisa

Lisa has been in the dental field for over 31 years now, which makes her one of the veterans in the field at Dynamic. She is better known as the Office Manager and has been there since the practice opened 14 years ago. Her dental career started out with 20 years serving the Air Force Dental Field and then after retirement continued onto Dynamic. Outside of the office (which is rare to find her anywhere else) she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, and trying new recipes she finds on Pinterest.

Elaine

From the city of San Francisco, Elaine enlisted in the Army as an ammunition specialist and is also a combat veteran. She has an associate's degree in electronics and graduated with honors from the dental assisting program. Starting her career in the VA Dental Clinic. Elaine soon came to Dynamic Dental. Outside of the office, Elaine enjoys hanging out with her husband and their two dogs Rambo and Chuck Norris.

Adilene

Adilene can sometimes be missed in the office, but she is the definition of the strong and silent type. Belonging to the same Army Reserve Unit as Dr. Kim for the past 10 years (and counting) as a dental tech, Adilene came to Dynamic quiet some time ago. Outside of the office, Adilene is busy going to school to become a dental hygienists. If she doesn’t have her nose in books or at the office, she enjoys sewing or hiking.

Karla

Karla received her degree from HS in Law Enforcement Forensics and then went on to receive her dental assisting certificate from Henderson’s Dental Assisting School in June of 2016. Our youngest member of the team is not shy of the field, wanting to further her education into Forensics Dentistry. Oddly enough, Karla’s first job was at Clark County Coroner’s Office, but she enjoys humans that talk back! In her spare time you can find Karla watching sitcoms on Netflix.

Mykee

One of the few male employees at Dynamic, it isn’t too hard for Mykee to stand out. Getting as much experience as possible as an assistant, Mykee hopes to one day run his own Orthodontics practice like his father. He has volunteered for Ortho and emergency clinics at UNLV, and if he isn’t doing that he is going on foodie adventures or lifting weights at the gym.

Penelope

Penelope graduated from the University of Southern California and practiced there before moving to the desert. She joined Dynamic Dental in 2008 and will be celebrating her 10 year anniversary next April. It is a privilege and honor for her to take care of her patients, and she has been doing an outstanding job! Outside of work, Penelope can be found spending time with her husband and her 5 grandchildren that she just adores.

Stephanie

More times than not you can find Stephanie welcoming you up front and going over in detail the treatment needed. Stephanie has been with the dental office since it opened back in 2006, and has experience in both the front and the back. Getting to come to work every day is a new experience she looks forward to and she loves ensuring patients leave comfortable and happy. Outside of the office, you can find Stephanie playing with her new puppy Figgy, and spending time with her husband and daughter, and giving them new recipes she experimented with in the kitchen.

India

You will probably hear India before you see her, she definitely cannot be missed. One of the veterans at the office, India comes with a more exciting background as she went to Bartending and Beverage Management a few years back. India is one of our lead assistants, and with her experience she is able to educate patients both in the front and the back. Outside of the office, you can find India playing bingo or, if we’re lucky, making her famous chili to bring to the office.

Andrea

Coming all the way from Pennsylvania, Andrea doubles as an assistant and the office nutritionist as she graduated with an associate in exercise science and fitness leadership. Upon completion of the Las Vegas Dental Assisting School, Andrea found her way to our office and has been her since. If she is not here or on the track, Andrea can be found getting outdoors with her husband and newest addition to the family, her daughter.

Erica

Erica splits her time between our office as our evening assistant and going to school earning her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science at the University of Nevada. Her long term goal is to become a Registered Dietitian. When she can find some free time between work and studies you will find Erica getting her groove on dancing with a local Las Vegas Dance Team, hiking local trails or chasing the snow for snowboarding.

Loverlie

Loverlie was born and raised on the sunny island of Oahu Hawaii. She graduated from Waipahu High School and later attended Las Vegas School of Dental Assisting. On her free time Loverlie enjoys cooking Asian cuisine.

Sheely

Sheely is originally from the Philippines. She came to the US in September 2012. She graduated from Northwest Career College Dental Assisting program and joined the Dynamic Dental team June 2018. Outside of the office Sheely enjoys singing and spending time with family and friends.

Michelle

Michelle was born and raised in Las Vegas. She graduated from Northwest Career College Dental Assisting program. She would love to continue her education and one day become an Oral Surgeon. In her spare time, you will find Michelle hanging out with her sisters or honing her barista skills.

Crystal

Crystal was born and raised in Las Vegas. She graduated from Northwest Career College in 2020. Loves to spend time with her daughter, family movie nights and when the weather is cool enough you can find Crystal hanging out at backyard BBQs or taking her daughter to the park.

Jonathan Kim, DDS

Dr. Jonathan Kim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Pacific Union College. He then went on to continue his education at Loma Linda University where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Having grown up in Vancouver, British Columbia, you can find Dr. Jon in the outdoors, traveling, living a healthy lifestyle and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks to their first Stanley Cup win. Dr. Jonathan Kim serves as a dental officer in the Army reserves and is not only committed to serving his country but all your dental needs.

Tina Xia, DDS

Dr. Tina Xia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. She then continued her advanced dental training at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine by completing the General Practice Residency program. She makes it her goal to provide the utmost excellent and comfortable care for all her patients in all facets of dentistry. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Tina is a big foodie and a fitness enthusiast who’s always on the lookout for the next hardcore workout class. You can always count on her for a good food recommendation because she is always researching for the next delicious bite.

Beverly Udell, RDH

Beverly has a earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, a Bachelors degree in Communication and is just two classes short of a third Bachelors in Biology. Beverly spent 12 years as a Fire Fighter and EMT, and before that 20 years as a cofounder and president of an international charity organization that serves families with the same rare disability that one of her daughters has.

Having moved as a child to Las Vegas, she is almost a Nevada native. She met her husband Jim while he was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base - they just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. In 2001, she and Jim moved to Utah where they live in a cabin on top of a mountain. There they raised their three girls, one of whom has become a dentist herself. Bev spends her working week in Las Vegas at Dynamic Dental and then on the weekends goes back to Utah where she and Jim assist another of their daughters in raising award winning Holland Lop show rabbits.

Pearson Chu

Pearson Chu is currently an undergraduate student at UNLV majoring in biology. After completing his bachelor's degree, he hopes to go on to dental school, become a dentist, and run his own practice. In his free time, he enjoys building and working on keyboards, model cars, and anything that needs to be tinkered with. He also enjoys cars, cooking, photography, gaming and most importantly, hanging out with his epic girlfriend!

Angelica

Angelica is the newest member of the Dynamic Dental team. She just graduated from Northwest Career College Dental assisting program. She graduated from High School in Las Vegas. She enjoys hiking, painting, collecting rocks, and baking.

Arely

Arely is Dynamic's newest staff member that has joined our Front Desk Team. When Arely is not at work, she enjoys quality time with her fur baby chinchilla, Spencer D. She loves photography and embroidery. Arely's future plans are to become a Veterinarian, and open up her own practice.
